Wipers are assembled onto hydraulic cylinders in order to remove dirt, moisture and various particles from the rod, thus preventing hydraulic environment from mudding, that in its turn could have caused damage to the surface, seal and other components of the hydro system.
Wipers can be of unilateral and dual action depending on their usage and sealing system. Their functions differ strictly: a unilateral wiper is designed to prevent extraneous mudding; duo lateral wiper has an extra function - to optimize sealing system and to extract left moisture level to avoid external leakage.
